I am passionate about education and demonstrate that passion in my work, my volunteer service, and as a life-long learner. I offer more than 25 years of experience teaching and tutoring students taking Accounting and General Business courses in higher education, teaching at community colleges and universities. The courses I am knowledgeable in include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Introduction to Business. I have files containing dozens (and dozens) of sample accounting problems, quizzes, and exams at various levels of difficulty. I have a strong record as a caring, ethical, respected professional who works well with a wide variety of students one-on-one or in small groups, including traditional-age college students, adult learners, international students and students with learning difficulties. My communication skills are strong; I have helped many students edit their written papers and prepare oral presentations. Friends, former students, and colleagues have described me as compassionate, hard-working, and very accessible. I usually tutor from my home in Fort Collins but I am happy to arrange another location if that works better for you. I am available to work with you seven days a week in the afternoons and evenings.
