I have been working as a tutor for many years. I am a recent high school graduate, and was a top scholar. During my last year as a high school student, I spent a semester abroad at a university in Spain. I will continue on to reach my educational goals by studying mathematics in college. I love math, but I also love French and Spanish subjects as well. I have a fascination with the beauty of language. I work hard to create quality lesson plans. I use a variety of resources to make the lessons fun and informative. I enjoy teaching and love growing as a teacher as I develop more skills and work with more students. I think it's important to have clear communication with each student that I work with. I need to understand what is confusing to each student and find a way to better explain the details. I also like to use real world examples when tutoring, so that students can better connect to the subject and understand why it's important. When I'm not studying or teaching others, I like to spend my time listening to music, traveling, rock climbing, and backpacking. I'm ready to help you with your study and learning needs.
